Accreditation in point-of-care ultrasound needs supervised scans after the course day, and that is where many learners get stuck. We set up a network of North West trainers to help our delegates finish.
This work is published in BMC Medical Education (2024). It also received the Manchester Medical Society award for best quality improvement project in 2024, accepted by one of our faculty on behalf of GM POCUS.
- Course dayShort lectures and hands-on scanning in small groups, taught by practising clinicians.
- Supervised scansTrainers across the North West supervise your scans as you build your logbook. Remote supervision is also available.
- AccreditationYou complete your sign-off, such as FUSIC, FAMUS or CACTUS, and use ultrasound in your daily practice.
